21 killed and 20 injured as Bacha Khan University comes under deadly attack

Bacha Khan University in Khyber Pakhtunkha’s Charsadda town came under attack on Wednesday when unidentified gunmen entered the university premises, according to sources the attackers hid in the boy’s hostel.

The attack took place while students were gathered at the University for a Poetry Recital to commemorate the death anniversary of the leader whom the school is named after.

As many as 21 individuals were killed and 20 injured during the attack according to Police.

Assistant professor Dr Hamid also lost his life during this deadly attack. Hamid Hussain was a PHD from England and was serving the university’s chemistry lab.

This attack is an abhorrent attack as bad as the APS. We hope the monsters who perpetuated this heinous attack are brought to justice.
