Dogs are loyal and may be the most adorable and human-loving animals out there. However, some dog breeds have more potential to cause injuries to a victim than other breeds and this is exactly why we call them “dangerous”.
1. Pitbulls
Though these dedicated companions love people more than anything but improper training can sometimes make them aggressive. They are also known to be bred for the highly illegal sport of dog fighting.
2. Rottweilers
They are known to be fearless and confident dogs, but can become aggressive if they are not trained properly. Life expectancy of this dangerous dog breed is around 12 to 14 years.
3. Huskies
Although huskies have nabbed a spot in the list of most dangerous dog breeds, generally they are more friendly towards children, your visitors and other dogs. But again, proper training is key.
4. German Shepherds
Even though their aggressive nature had labelled them as one of the dangerous dogs but when they are trained properly, they are your best companion.
5. Chow Chows
The Chow Chow looks lovable and sweet. It is not quite so, though. Don’t try to get too chummy with a chow chow’s owner without his or her permission, because chow chows are one of the most aggressive dog breeds in the world.
6. Akitas
If you don’t train and socialise them properly, this affectionate yet bold animal can screw up and turn into one of the most dangerous dog breeds.
7. Boxer
Unlike their aggressive look, they can play well with kids. They are a bright, energetic and playful breed. Since these dogs stay energetic the entire day, their energy has to be utilised in positive ways.
8. Great Danes
Great Danes must be trained with adequate exercises. If you fail to give the kind of attention it requires, it starts to rebel. Long walks are necessary for this dog breed.
9. Doberman Pinschers
Doberman pinschers (dobermans) are dogs that were originally bred to protect and defend. Doberman pinchers can do self-estimations. So if your family is being threatened, you don’t have to utter a word. They will automatically sense and do everything to protect you
10. Alaskan Malamutes
Alaskan Malamutes are friendly dogs. But if they are bored, they can become destructive. Alaskan Malamutes are very intelligent breeds. Just like Huskies, these dogs are very energetic, but when their energy is not used positively, they can become aggressive.
