If you can relate to these points you need a new job. A good job is good because of the people you work with and especially your boss. If your boss is going to be bad you’re going to have a bad time.
Here are some signs you have a bad boss:
1. They’re never wrong!
Everyone is human and makes mistakes. If you boss doesn’t make any that either means they’re perfect or they’re a bad boss.
2. They micromanage
Every little thing needs to be done the way they want.
3. They have favourites
If one co worker doesn’t get yelled at while the other does you’re in for a bad time. Even if you do better than the favourite.
4. They call you on your days off
They have no sense of personal space and when an employee should be left alone.
5. They give constructive 0 feed back
If you ask a question and the answer you get makes you even more confused you have a bad boss.
6. They ignore you or are passive agressive
This is the worst. You don’t know if they haven’t seen your work or not and whether they liked it or not.
7. Your boss doesn’t give credit
If your boss takes all the credit for the work you’ve done don’t expect anything from them
8. They change their mind quite often
They wants one thing in the morning and something else in the afternoon. They can never make up their own mind
9. Waking up gets hard
If you’re stressing about waking up in the morning because you don’t want to see your boss, you have a bad one.
10. Your work is never enough
If you’re working 10 - 12 hours a day and your boss is still not satisfied you have a bad boss.
