Who is your favourite Disney mom? I’ll give you a minute to think about it.

That’s right, there are hardly any Disney moms only dads. Almost all the mothers of Disney princesses and princes are dead. The fathers are the ones who take up the role of being the nurturers and the authoritative figure. It’s no wonder these characters are so screwed up. Not that fathers are incapable to raising children but no one can take up the role of a mother like a mother. Now if Disney movies were made in desi settings, things would have been quite different.

Out of the few mothers that are in Disney here are 10 reasons why Desi moms are better than Disney moms:

1. There are hardly any moms!

2. Desi moms are very involved in their children’s love life.

3. If anyone tries to hurt their child, they will wage war

4. They help save us from the dads

5. They are the warmth we need when we are down

6. They are supportive of our ideas no matter how stupid.

7. But they reprimand you where you are wrong.

8. They don’t let you throw your life away on some boy

9. They will cook for you no matter what age you are at

10. They are not oblivious to all the evil people surrounding you.

Moms are the best!
