11 Brave Pakistani Soldiers Who Received The Nishan-e-Haider

Nishan-e-Haider literally means the “Mark of the Lion”. With a green ribbon and a five-point star it is the highest military award that can be given in Pakistan. The Nishan-e-Haider is only awarded to members of Pakistan’s armed forces; people who sacrificed their lives for their homeland. Nishan-e-Haider signifies the highest acts of bravery and courage, and on this Defence Day, we pay a tribute to all those who have fallen for our cause.
Here is a list of 11 brave Pakistani soldiers who are still remembered for their bravery and valour:

He was awarded the Hilal-e-Kashmir, equivalent to the Nishan-i-Haider.
