From time to time for many reasons there is a strike in Pakistan. It could be a strike done by a certain political party, certain workers or just for the safety of the general public a strike is announced. During a strike many people are confined to their houses as a lot of shops are either closed or it is unsafe to go out side.

Here are some things you go through when there is a strike:

1. If it’s a school or work day you jump for joy because it’s a holiday!

2. If it’s a weekend you hate your life.

3. You tend to “waste” (read enjoy) your whole day sleeping

4. If nothing else you’ll binge watch a whole show

5. If you’re feeling adventurous you’ll sit outside and bond with your family

6. But you’ll probably get made fun of for sleeping so late and not doing XYZ so you’ll go back to your room

7. When the sun starts to set you think about getting out of the house

8. You call up a few friends and see who all are free and willing to pick you up

9. You make a plan and eventually leave the house

10. You see restaurants being filled up and people roaming around

11. You go out have a good time and eventually come home and forget why there was a strike in the first place
