November has just begun and we all know what that means: WINTER IS COMING! Even though you can’t really trust the weather of Karachi there are a few signs that indicate that colder days are coming. Here are 10 signs that prove that winters are almost here in Karachi:

1. You have to get up in the middle of the night to turn off the fans and wear a ‘moti chaddar’.

2. And you start waking up to a foggy morning.

3. The sun starts setting sooner and 7 o’clock feels like 10 o’clock.

4. When you have to run to the bathroom to pee more times than usual.

5. You’ll be hearing ‘geezer chala dou mujhay nahana hai’ every time someone has to shower.

6. You start seeing people wearing socks and sandals

7. Drinking cold water means you’re going to have a cough the next day

8. Chai will slowly start being replaced with coffee

9. People start buying ‘intense care’ lotions and cold creams with their groceries

10. The golla ganda stalls turn into chicken soup stalls

11. The moong phalli wala starts taking rounds in your neighbourhood again

12. Even if you forget to keep leftovers in the fridge, they won’t go bad
