It is that time of the year when everyone around you is getting married - people you know and people you don’t know. This means you have to attend A LOT of weddings these days and it is not something you are excited about. Here’s what we hate about the wedding season:

1. If you are single, seeing a bunch of people getting married sucks!

2. The fact that you have to dress up and look good because SOMEONE else is getting married!

3. You end up spending ridiculous amount of money on wedding gifts

4. And super expensive clothes, shoes and accessories

5. You have to meet all your relatives you would rather not meet!

6. Weddings are a chance for uncles and aunties to judge what you’re doing with your life

7. You have to spend your Saturday night seeing two people sign-up for a lifetime together

8. Sunday night weddings are even worse because you have to go to work/school in the morning!

9. It is even worse when you have to attend more than one shaadi on the same day

10. You hate to attend the long ass ceremonies and rituals that make absolutely no sense

11. And the fact that you have to wait for the dinner till midnight is annoying AF

12. And if you have been having shaadi-ka-khana for a while, you have an upset stomach

13. You have to attend endless dance practices in case you are the active one!

14. And one thing that you hate the most about wedding season is the Rishta brigade - “Beta shaadi kab kroge”
