Social media is something people are still figuring out how to use. Some people think they can post anything they want on social media with no consequences; what they fail to realise is that their social media is VERY public.
For those people wondering whether they should post something on social media or not should go through these points to be safe:
1. You partying too hard!
Yes, partying may make you seem cool, but do you really want your boss or relatives to see what you’ve been up to?
2. Relationship issues
We get it; there’s trouble in paradise. But posting about your break up or why being single sucks is not going to help, it’s just going to make everyone laugh at you.
3. How much money you make
Yes, we get it you’re balling, you also become an easy target for people who like having rich friends to use. Also no one likes a show off.
4. Vacation times
YAY Vacation! How fun! Please go enjoy your vacation instead of posting things every 5 minutes on Facebook…. Jeez
5. Strong opinions
We don’t want to know what political party you support or why you hate a certain type of people. Hate speech is never appreciated.
6. Sexist jokes
No one likes them. They are not funny.
7. Home Address
You don’t want and shouldn’t inform everyone about where you live. Keeping your house address public could be dangerous.
8. Locations
Posting where you’re going every 5 minutes kind of makes you an easy target to kidnap or even avoid. Which ever you think is worse.
9. Your password
Jeez do I have to explain this? But don’t give your password out to anyone who knows what they could do with your account…
10. Silly statuses
Any status you may regret writing after you’ve written it is a silly status and there is a thing such as an age appropriate status.
11. Spelling
Pliz dunt b3 @n Idi0T.
12. Complaints about work or your boss
Yup, you don’t know who might see your hate status, better to keep things to yourself.
13. Nudity!
No one wants to see you naked, and the people who do are not the people you want to be naked for!!
