There are always a few students in the class room who are famous as the backbenchers of the class. You will never EVER see them sitting anywhere else! Last row, last bench is like home to them!

Here’s what you can relate to, if you have always been a backbencher!

1. Last row, last bench was your favourite spot. You will not sit anywhere else.

2. Everyone in the class knows your spot and no one would even dare to take it away from you

3. You were automatically cooler than the other kids in the class

4. You were never alone; you had your whole gang with you!

5. You were the naughtiest lot of the class

6. You thought standing outside the class as a punishment was fun!

7. They would often ask questions from you during the lecture to check if you were listening

8. You would complete your Math assignments during your history class

9. You were always the first person to leave the class at Lunch Time and the last one to come back.

10. You were ALWAYS talking to your friends; whispering, scribbling on the back of your note book, passing notes – you did it all!

11. Dozing off during a class was your favourite hobby!

12. But you had amazing excuses when you got caught

13. You were the first person to jump out of their seat as soon as the teacher left the class

14. You knew all the funny ways to distract the whole class

15. You sneakily ate in the middle of the class.

16. Sitting on the first bench was like a nightmare!

17. While your teachers used the word BACKBENCHER to insult you, you thought it was something to be proud of

Backbenchers are not losers, they are not naughty. They just know how to enjoy boring lectures.
