In Nothern Indiana, a woman was shot in the leg by… wait for it…. A DOG!

And not by any dog it’s her very own dog. And here’s the best part, the dog’s name is…. wait for it…. Trigger.

25-year-old Allie Carter was having a fun time until she placed her shotgun on the ground without the safety on, during a Waterfowl hunt in a wild life area.

Yes, putting your loaded gun on the ground without the safety lock on is not the smartest thing to do.

The Labrador, stepped on the trigger (ironic, huh?) and shot Carter in the left foot. She was treated at two hospitals. The first hospital couldn’t stop laughing so they sent her to a second one.

They were going to charge the dog with criminal charges but then he made this face.

Awww it’s okay doggy. No criminal charges for you!
