Benedict Cumberbatch plays Doctor Strange in the latest Marvel movie addition.
Steven Strange was a neurosurgeon who had a car crash which destroyed his hands. To heal them he went to a mystic to cure his hands with magic, when he went there he became the mystics apprentice Doctor Strange who when he returned became a super hero who fought crime.
