Defence Housing Authority Karachi Renames Beach Avenue after Abdul Sattar Edhi

DHA Karachi renamed Beach Avenue on Sea view in Phase-VIII as Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue in recognition of the philanthropists welfare services for humanity.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Defence Housing Authority chaired by Corps Commander Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar.

Defence Housing Authority said that renaming decision is reflective of the high regard for the veteran welfare social activist.

It was also pointed out that the Beach Avenue is among the most popular roads of the metropolis that is visited by a large number of citizens.
