The biggest social media giant Facebook is celebrating its 12th birthday by gifting friendship collages to its 1.6 billion users. The company is calling it “Friends Day.”

The friendship collages are packaged in video presentations of photos of friends and family that have been previously been posted on Facebook by the users. These photos are picked out by automated technology, but the users can also edit, delete or select other pictures instead.

The videos won’t be seen by anyone else unless a user decides to share the presentation.

Earlier, Mark Zurkerberg posted on Facebook asking users to celebrate Facebook’s 12th anniversary as ‘friendship day’. He said,

“On February 4, I hope you’ll join me in celebrating #friendsday — a moment to celebrate the friendships that have made a difference in your life.”

Facebook is also releasing a series of new sticker packs today, including ones labeled “Friendship” and “Best Friends” featuring a hodgepodge of popular animated characters. You can check out the new collection at Facebook’s Sticker Store.
