This instagram photo has taken the internet by storm!

A Swiss photographer Tiziana Vergari posted this photo to Instagram last week. The photo was originally posted as part of an Instagram weekend hash tag project. You may think that it is really simple, but it is not. People cannot figure out the number of girls in this picture, and there is a debate going around several social media platforms to figure out the right answer. Whether there are two, four, five or maybe even 13 girls, the internet just doesn’t know.

The picture that is making rounds on social media has been shared on several news channels too, it has gathered 17,400 likes and has been shared more than 12,800 times, since it was uploaded last week.

According to CNN, the photographer confirmed that the photograph she took features two sisters looking into a mirror. But social media is still on fire with people trying to understand this optical illusion.
