They’re cute and cuddly, so what’s not to love about them?

But wouldn’t it be weird to find out that the cute, cuddly little creature you call your pet, the one you love so dearly, actually wants to kill you?

Yes, that’s right. Mr Wiggums is a psychopath!

A study done at the University of Edinburgh shows that your cat, how ever cute it may be, is just a tiny version of a lion or a tiger. Meaning they are dominant, impulsive and neurotic. That’s right: Neurotic!

“The highest loadings on anxious, insecure, and tense, suspicious, and fearful of people,”

For the experiment, researchers used a hundred cats from two different shelters in Scotland, and were compared to animals at the zoo and sanctuary.

Psychologist, Dr Max Wachtel, said:

“They’re cute and furry and cuddly, but we need to remember that when we have cats as pets we are inviting little predators into our house. For a lot of people, it’s worth it. Cats can be sweet companions, until they turn on you.”

The only reason your cat hasn’t killed you yet is because you’re a giant comparison.
