Japanese Olympian Accidentally Spends $5000 On Pokémon Go

How far would you go to catch all those Pokémon’s? A Japanese Olympian,Kohei Uchimura just went too far racking $5000 to catch them all in Brazil.
The reigning Japanese Olympic gold medalist and six-time world champion decided to play the popular game while he was settling in the new environment of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He went too far and realized this when he was charged for his roaming data bill after playing the game since. Upon learning his bill he was really down.
His teammate Kenzo Shirai commented:
“He [Uchimura] looked dead at the team meal that day.”
But luckily Uchimura’s phone company has spared him and he will be paying the daily flat rate of about $3000.
Uchimura said that he was lucky:
“I really lucked out. ”
