Meet the Irish traveler Allan Dixon who has been dubbed “the real-life Dr Dolittle” thanks to his uncanny knack for capturing perfect shots with animals he meets on his travels.

From sheep and kangaroos to sea lions and cockatoos, there’s apparently not a critter in the world that doesn’t want its portrait taken with Dixon.

His Social Media accounts are loaded with smiling snaps with the likes of kangaroos, quokkas, camels and sea lions.

He said: “People’s reactions to these photos were rising exponentially - after three photos, it was a given I should continue the trend.”

The heartwarming photos have seen his followers skyrocket, with more than 200,000 Instagram followers waiting to see what the intrepid traveler dubbed “real-life Dr Dolittle” does next.
