After 10 months, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and his wife Reham Khan have divorced with mutual consent.

We have decided to part ways and file for divorce.

While Imran Khan also confirmed the divorce and expressed his admiration for her in the following tweets:

“PTI chairman Imran Khan and Reham Khan have decided to divorce by mutual consent. Due to the sensivity and seriousness of this extremely painful matter it is requested that the media should refrain from any speculation. There will be no further communication in this respect,” the PTI spokesperson said, according to a post on the PTI chief’s official Facebook page.

There were rumors circulating about the divorce just a few days ago but last month PTI chairman Imran Khan strongly urged the media to desist from “such baseless statements”.

Earlier this year, PTI chairman Imran Khan and television journalist Reham Khan tied the knot in a simple nikkah ceremony that took place at Imran khan’s Bani Gala residence.
