Ayyan Ali is among one of the most versatile supermodels of the Pakistani media industry. She is also the youngest model to have achieved a lot of fame in a very short span of time.
Ayyan started her career at the age of 16, became a model in 2010 and won the title of ‘Best Female Emerging Model’. She also won the title of Calvin Klein Beauty in 2010.
Very soon she became the highest paid model in the Pakistani fashion scene.
She made appearances in various TVCs and worked with many renowned fashion designers.
Then she discovered her musical side, and her music-videos “You and I”, “Making Dollars” and “Earthquake” made brand new waves of fame for her.
With her on the cover, magazines were sure to sell like hot-cakes!
But on March 14, 2015, the supermodel was arrested at Benazir Bhutto International Airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle $506,800 in her luggage.
She claimed that several famous and influential Pakistani politicians were involved in the money laundering case. Rehman Malik was quick to deny these accusations.

But then, ex Home Minister, Zulfiqar Mirza said that the money being laundered belonged to Asif Ali Zardari, and the reason the supermodel did what she did was because she was romantically involved with the former president of Pakistan.
Our former president, according to Mirza, had promised to marry the 21-year-old supermodel. If she hadn’t been arrested, she would have been Faryal Talpur’s sister-in-law! Yikes!
Despite all the controversies the super model has been given the VIP treatment in jail. Apparently, it is not too difficult to become the queen of prison.
In fact, every time she walks out of prison, she looks like she’s ready to walk the ramp again!
And then, to add fuel to the fire, Ayyan’s intermediate mark sheet was leaked on social media and went viral. You can just imagine the damage it did. But we believe in her - first in school is not first in life! I mean so what if she got a D grade overall? She still has the “Best Female Model Award” in 2010 and 2012 to her name.
Yes there was jail after, but honestly, to me, prison has done her A LOT of good. Doesn’t she look like a happier, healthier 21-year-old as compared to the stick-thin diva she was earlier?
To thank the prison for extending such hospitality, the gracious model also wants to produce a film on how prisoners in the Adiala Jail are treated and how they spend their time there.
Regardless of all the drama surrounding our supermodel in jail, her stories still sell like they are the last morsel of food available in the market!
We have seen how her life went from the ramp to jail. Let’s see what happens when the gorgeous model gets out of prison! Will she able to get her position back in the fashion industry or will she disappear into the background?
