Salman Khan was interviewed recently by a local news site for his upcoming movie Sultan. He talked about how he had to train at different levels starting from training at sand, to his next level MMA classes.
The 50-year old mentioned how this was the toughest role he has ever done, because it took a lot of his body strength.
But something went wrong in that interview as he proceeded.
He said something about women and it was not in good taste.
“When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight”
He realized and immediately corrected himself seconds later stating: “I don’t think I should have…”
But there was an uproar on social media:
All the people who find Salman's comments 'not a big deal/major issue', they embody what's wrong with patriarchy and misogyny. #SalmanKhan

India’s National Commission for Women (NCW) demanded a public apology, calling the comments “reprehensible”
Salim Khan, Salam Khan’s father later clarified in a tweet that his sons intentions were not wrong and apologized.
Undoubtedly what Salman said is wrong, the simili, example and the context. The intention was not wrong.
