He was not their by choice, his papers had gotten lost or stolen while he was at the airport, and then he was never allowed to leave. A movie, called The Terminal, was actually made on him too.

She finds it cheaper than living in her apartment and saves £50 a month. She also finds it easier to visit her boyfriend and maintain her long distance relationship with him,
“Normally, we would have to have a long-distance relationship. But living on a train enables me to see him all the time.”

Leonie says,
“I really feel at home and I can visit so many more friends and cities. It’s like being on vacation all the time. I read, I write, I look out of the window and I meet nice people all the time. There’s always something to do on trains.”
She studies on the train and even washes her hair in the bathroom.
