We bet you didn’t know that Shahid Kapoor was a part of ‘Taal’. Yes he was! The superstars you see today on the big screen did not necessarily start big. These big Bollywood celebrities appeared in small roles first as junior artists.

Here’s a list of 10 Bollywood celebrities we bet you didn’t notice when you saw these movies first!

1. Shahid Kapoor

Shahid made his first film appearance in the movie ‘Taal’. HE has always been a great dancer and was a part of Shaimak Davar’s troupe. Since Shaimak was choreographing for ‘Taal’, Shahid got in the troupe behind Ash.

2. Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma’s poster was in the movie ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, these were her early modeling days.

3. Kiran Rao

Kiran Rao made a seconds appearance in ‘Dil Chahta Hai’.

4. Irrfan Khan

Irrfan earned fame after Haasil in 2003. Before that he worked with several TV shows. But he starred almost a decade earlier in the Oscar nominated Hindi film ‘Salaam Bombay’ where he played a small role of a man who writes letters to make some money.

5. Karan Johar

Karan Johar gave a Cameo appearance in ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, he played Rahul’s close friend in the movie.

6. Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Siddiqui became famous with films like ‘Kahaani’ and ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. But more than a decade back, Nawazuddin Siddiqui appeared in a very small role in ‘Munnabhai MBBS’.

7. Shreyas Talpade

Shreyas Talpade became famous and won many awards for the movie ‘Iqbal’, he was a part of many famous movies such as Om Shanti Om, Joker, Housefull 2 but he made his first appearance in Amitabh Bachchan starer ‘Aankhen’.

8. Remo D’Souza

Remo did not start big either, before becoming a successful choreographer and director, he was seen as a background dancer in movies like ‘Pardes’ and ‘Aflatoon’.

9. Farah Khan

Farah was seen in the background in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ along with Nikhil Advani in “The Neelam Show”

10. Ayan Mukerji

Ayan Mukerji before becoming a known director, made a seconds appearance in a song sequence of SRK’s film, ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’. He was assisting Karan Johar in the film.
