Khalid Khan, a renowned drama director, will be directing and producing ‘Zeher-e-Ishq’, an upcoming movie about Maulana Rumi.

“The film is based on the Maulana Rumi’s teachings and its central theme is love.” He said.

The film not only has Pakistani actors but also Turkish actors.

“The cast includes Pakistani and Turkish actors and its shooting will commence in mid-December and the spell will end in March. It is being shot in Urdu but will be dubbed in Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Russian.” He further added.

The film’s soundtrack is done by Waqar Ali Khan and it has seven songs that are written by Ali Moeen and Sabir Zafar. Some really big names will be singing them like Sajjad Ali, Rahat Fateh Ali, Sunidhi Chauhan, Palak Muchhal (Aashiqui 2) and Mohammad Irfan Ali (Ek Villain). The script is written by Mohammad Asif and the cinematography is done by Mirza Mehmood.
