At least 72 people were killed and hundreds injured, many of them children, when a suicide bomber blew himself up at Gulshan-i-Iqbal park in Lahore Easter Sunday.

John Tory, the mayor of Toronto tweeted that the sign is lit in green and white to remember the innocent victims of the blast.

He also tweeted to clarify that they hoped to have it lit in their memory sooner but the sign had technical issues.

He also announced that there was to be a vigil at Queen’s Park to honour the victims.

He also tweeted the pictures of the vigil.
