Wall Of Kindness Spreads Hope and Love In Pakistan
Published: Feb 9, 2025

Deewar-e-Meherbani or the Wall of Kindness was initiated in Mashhad, Iran by anonymous Iranians. It is basically a corner where clothes and other items are placed for those who cannot afford the basics in life. After Iran, the wall of kindness is spreading the message of love and hope in Pakistan.

Recently, the teachers of Bahria college along with some students have set up the wall of kindness at M.T Khan road, Karachi.

Similarly, five Punjab University students have put several hangers on a segment of the wall opposite Jam-i-Shirin Park on Ali Zaib Road, Lahore where people can leave extra clothes for others in need.

A wall associated with sex workers in Peshawar has been transformed by a group of young men into a “wall of kindness” where clothes and other items are placed for those who cannot afford the basics in life.

Ali Shah Mari and Ehsaan Hashmi set up the wall of kindness in Mirpur Khas.

Make sure you visit the wall of kindness in your city and donate something for those who are in need. You can also set up your own wall of kindness in your city!
