Famous Pakistani actor, model, director, die-hard fan of Imran Khan and ex-cultural secretary of PTI Hamza Ali Abbasi loves to be in lime light. A couple of days ago,Hamza jumped into the controversies of item songs; he praised (if that’s what it can be called) Zhalay Sarhadi by saying that he was proud of her for not ‘taking off her clothes’.

But after few days, the trailer for Abbasi’s upcoming Pakistani movie, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (JPNA), was released and when our audience saw our very own Hazrat Hamza Ali Abbasi romancing bikini clad women in his own set of chaddis, we were shocked!

After facing a lot criticism for his role in his upcoming film, Abbasi resigned from the post of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) culture secretary. He did this via Facebook (as usual):

Hamza also claimed that he is not being paid for JPNA and he will not participate in any promotional event of the movie.

Later Humayun Saeed told The Express Tribune that,

“He hasn’t asked me for the money, yes that’s true. But he is being paid. I don’t know if he has already received payment because I haven’t checked with the accounts department but he will be paid the amount stated on the contract he signed.”

He also said he appreciates Hamza for honouring his commitment but he never pressured him into signing the film.

“Even now, it’s unprofessional of him to say he won’t promote the film. If he has made the commitment, he should honour it in full. His job doesn’t end at the completion of the shoot. Promotion is as much a part of the deal as shooting.”

And now we have all seen some of the exclusive pictures of the promotional event of the movie, along with Hamza’s smiling face.

Whatever the controversies surrounding this dramatic actor may be, I for one am looking forward to watching Jawani Phir Nahi Ani. Good luck to JPNA team!
