Having a job is a blessing but if you have a job that you love then count yourself SUPER lucky, because there are tonnes of us, working people, out there who hate our jobs. And it’s a real struggle just trying to keep up with it.

Here’s a list of 16 ways to gauge whether your HATE your job or not:

1. You don’t mind waking up in the morning, but you start waking up absolutely miserable!

2. “Do I really NEED this job?” – you ask yourself this question everyday.

3. You call in sick for absolutely no reason.

4. You are always late to work.

5. The only motivation for you to go to work is the money!

6. Work days seem frustratingly LOOOOOOOOOOOONG to you.

7. You are bored. Really, really BORED. All the time!

8. You doze off a couple of times during the day.

9. You sit in the bathroom at your workplace and think whether this is really what you want to do for living!

10. Some days you only PRETEND to work.

11. And some days you don’t even do that!

12. You hate most of your co-workers, especially the overly cheerful ones.

13. You use your office internet to search for new jobs and sending out your resume.

14. You consistently complain, whine, and moan about your job to friends, family, co-workers, and anyone who will listen.

15. You wait for the weekend all week!

16. You start panicking at about 5 pm on Sunday because the weekend is almost over.

If you can relate to most of these, it’s time for you to quit your job and go on a long vacation and never come back! Just kidding!

If you hate your job, get a new one. And if you can’t get a new job, make peace with what you have and STOP WHINING!
